I'm originally from Belarus, but I've lived in France for most of my life, and I've been studying in the UK for almost 4 years now. I speak Russian, French, English (*gasp*) and relatively decent German. Currently doing an MSc in European Affairs in London...and sometimes asking myself why the hell I picked that subject.
I've got a diffuse creative slant: I've taken piano classes for 9 years, and have been involved in Irish dancing for the past 3. I also do some amateur drama when I have the occasion, draw (pencil only, I seem to dislike manipulating colour >.>) and write fanfic. The latter usually takes a lot longer than it should, and I've only just started posting it. If that catches anybody's fancy, I'll be gradually putting it up as Chernika (that's 'blueberry' in Russian) on fanfiction.net.
